We request that you please refer all information, customer service, or product inquires in writing to us by email so that we may provide you with the best information possible.  We do not have any automatic shipment programs or any recurring billing - if you are experiencing problems with either of those, they are not originating from our company.  You will need to contact the company you purchased from.

Bare Escentuals Customers:  Bare Escentuals items can no longer be ordered directly online.  Please email us so that we can better provide you with any information you need.  

Payment Methods:  

We accept secure online credit card payments and Paypal, which is a secure online payment processing service that accepts credit card, debit card, bank transfer, echeck, and Paypal balance transfer payments.  Paypal no longer requires that you sign up for an account with them, so it is now possible to pay online using their service without an account.  If you would like to sign up for one with them, you will be given an opportunity to do so during the payment process.  

Customer Information, Security and Privacy:

It is the customer's responsibility to guarantee the accuracy of the information that is provided to us by them.  Barescentsations assumes no responsibility for packages lost or misdirected due to incorrect shipping information that has been provided to us.  In such event, all costs involved are to be incurred by the customer.  Packages returned to us will be reshipped at the customer's expense.  Please provide a current email address and telephone number when checking out through our shopping cart in case we need to contact you regarding your order.  Barescentsations does not share nor disclose any personal information obtained from our customers.  Any and all information is strictly used to facilitate orders and provide high-quality customer service.  All orders are subject to verification, and any order deemed suspicious by our loss prevention department or any order containing information that can not be verified may be cancelled at our discretion.  Any instance of fraud will be reported to the appropriate authorities and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.  For our customer's security, our shopping cart carries a Thawte SSL Certificate which ensures all information is encrypted, making it  impossible to intercept or steal, and  Barescentsations is Paypal Verified.  

Refunds and Exchanges:

Exchanges may be made if an incorrect item was shipped.  Due to the personal nature of these products, we do not issue any refunds or exchanges for any other reason except for a defective product.  If you are unsure about what shade to purchase, we offer many of the most popular products in sample sizes.  Please take advantage of these smaller sizes to determine which is best for you to assure your satisfaction prior to purchasing a full-size item.  If you do not see what you are looking for, please email and ask.  Orders that have been processed and whose order status is shown as "Shipped" can not be cancelled.  Orders that are cancelled prior to shipping will be assessed a processing/restocking fee of 25% to cover the expense of processing the order.  While we do our best to accurately display the colors of the products we carry, consideration must be given to the fact that the colors of the images contained in this website may appear differently on different monitors, and how the images appear on any individual monitor is beyond our control.  All items are inspected prior to shipping, but we do understand that sometimes there may be an instance where an item is defective and such defect is not detectable by mere inspection.  In such a case, the item will be replaced upon the return to us of the defective one.  All items must be approved for exchange prior to shipping them back to us or they will not be accepted.  Barescentsations is to be notified immediately via email of any problem with an item within 7 days of customer receipt.  Items held longer than 7 days will be deemed by us to be acceptable to the customer.  Any items that appear to have been tampered with, misused, or mishandled are not eligible for exchange, and eligibility is at the sole discretion of Barescentsations.    

Shipping (domestic):

We do our very best to ship in-stock items  within 24 to 48 hours of receiving payment.  We will send an email confirmation that payment has been received.  Domestic orders that utilize the U.S. postal service will receive a shipping confirmation email with a delivery confirmation number, typically within 24 hours of the package being shipped.  Delivery confirmation numbers are used only to verify delivery, they are not able to track a package enroute.  Occasionally an item may be out of stock, in which case we will notify you as soon as possible.  We offer free shipping on cosmetic and most Fake Bake orders totaling $25.00 and over to the continental United States, some exclusions apply.  Orders totaling under $25.00 will be charged a $2.50 shipping fee.  Certain items will have an additional shipping charge due to their weight which will be added during checkout.  Fragrance purchases will have a separate shipping charge added to them based on the total number of fragrance items purchased, (see Fragrance chart below).  All shipping costs excluding fragrance purchases will be determined at time of checkout, or you may email us for any applicable charges if payment will be made by other means.  Orders totaling under $50.00 will ship by USPS First Class mail.  Orders totaling  $50.00 and over will ship by USPS Priority Mail.  If your order total is under $50.00 but you would like Priority shipping for your package, it may be purchased as an option at an additional cost to the regular shipping charge at time of checkout.  USPS Express  shipping for $18.00 is also available with any size order in the continental United States.  Please take into account that order processing time will remain the same, and express shipping applies to the in-transit shipping time only.  USPS' Express service guarantee is as stated on their website.  Please consult there for further information regarding their service.  If we can secure a refund from them for a delay in delivery, then we will refund their shipping charge to the customer.  If we can not obtain a refund, then no fees will be refunded. 

Cosmetic & Fake Bake Purchases

International Orders:

International customers are always welcome, and we do our best to keep shipping costs to a minimum.  Instead of giving you an inflated flat rate shipping charge, we calculate each order individually.  If you would like to know the shipping charge prior to placing an order, please email us with a list of items you would like to purchase and the destination country, and we will respond as soon as possible.  Otherwise when going through checkout, chose "International" as the shipping option, and your order will be processed without the shipping charge included.  If paying through Paypal, we will send you an invoice for the balance due, and your order will ship when we receive notice of payment on that invoice from Paypal.  If paying by secure online credit card payment, we will charge your credit card separately for those charges when your order ships.  Please keep in mind that the customer is responsible for any duty/customs charges, and these charges vary by country.
